The success of this place is legendary and it packs in the crowds every night. Very much an 'in place' and people go there to be seen as much as for the good Australian-style cuisine and the stunning setting. The breakfast menu is very good value, so try this first and see if you like the place, and stay on for cocktails at sunset, then dinner. You will almost certainly return for dinner or for sunset drinks. KDT regularly features international DJs in an 'Ibiza-style' setting and is becoming famous for its great parties.

BEBEK BALI - SEMINYAK
Bebek Bali means "Balinese duck", and in case that doesn't tip you off as to their speciality, everything from napkins to beer coasters inside the lush, ornamented restaurant is duck-shaped. Duck is served in seven ways, including the tasty Balinese bebek batutu flavored with herbal paste. Post-bird flu, however, they also have a (rather less successful) sideline in seafood. Just down the beach from KuDeTa lies its aging predecessor. La Lucch, as it's known locally, provides a light Italian menu and a breakfast menu. Favorite among the locals as a breakfast spot. Dinner less inspired.
